Halfway There —
Our friends get off easy — they're already done.

|
My Wife the Burrito —
Our assistants wrap Erin up in the traditional bulang. In real traditional Balinese weddings, the wife is wrapped up tighter than a fist...fortunately, these women were a bit more merciful, allowing her the ability to take an occasional breath.

|
Finishing Touches —
Ratni puts on the last layer of yellow and gold cloth, the bulang parada, before sending Erin off to wait some more.

Flower Plate —
The traditional bouquet for Balinese women, a canagsari, lies waiting for its rightful owner (for the day).

Keith's Turn —
Breaking with tradition, the men have the dress train in Bali. However, it doesn't work both ways: the bride doesn't get to pull off the garter. Damn!

Does This Make Me Look Fat? —
Keith can't help but be amused as he crouches down to help the ladies wrap him in his sarung.

|
Aren't You Ready Yet? —
The back of Erin's gelungan as she looks on to see what's taking Keith so long. (His gelungan wasn't meant to fit such a tiny head.)

Introducing the groom...Norman? —
This is our driver for the week, Norman, in a photo taken at his wedding a couple of years ago. Not to confuse you or anything, but this is what our wedding costumes are supposed to look like. So...how did we do?

|
Ooooooh...aaaaaah... —
Here they are, the bride and groom. All dressed up...but where to go now?
