| As expansive as the "valley" seems, it's continuing to shrink due to erosion. But this is not so much a force of nature as it is capitalism. Huge sections, like the green part seen in the background, are being razed by commercial developers for construction of new businesses and expensive homes. Many residents of La Paz are forced to slowly watch as one of their natural marvels is slowly turned into a giant parking lot. |
