A Stroll Around Antigua | 1 | 2 |

On the tour I met Robin. She was the only other person on the tour, so it wasn't too hard to meet! She is a Canadian from Toronto, and is here for a World Health Organization conference. She's a very inquisitive person. She thinks differently than I do, so I was very fascinated by some of her questions. After the tour, I invited her to join Keith and me for dinner. She was very pleased, as most of the other conference participants speak Spanish.
We headed back to the La Fonda restaurant where Keith and I went on Monday night. It was very good with a nice quiet ambiance. We sat back near the fireplace, and had a very good (and long) dinner. We had some fun conversations about anything and everything, from the source of electricity in Guatemala to the Daughters of the American Revolution, and what Canada — and the USA — is like from a Canadian's perspective. Hopefully, we dispelled some of Robin's fears about ugly Americans. I like Robin and I hope we can keep in touch.
