Keith's Vows

I think just answering "yes" to a bunch of standardized questions is not
enough to convince you of how genuine my love for you is, so I'd like to
list just a few of the things that I believe make our relationship so
special:
- I love how you let me warm up my cold feet against you when I wake up
in the morning.
- I love the way you're always looking out for what's best for me (even
if I happen to disagree)
- I love the way you love and cherish your family members (all six
hundred of them)
- I love that you enjoy my being a geek (even now)
- I love the way you support me, despite the crazy things I sometimes
do
- and I love how ever since we first said "I love you" to each other,
not a day has passed where we haven't said it again, and meant it just as
much every time.
All of these things, and countless others, are qualities I cherish in
you, and I consider myself the luckiest man in the world to have a person
like you to spend the rest of my life with.
And so, to show my gratitude, and to profess my love for you, I also
make these promises to you:
- to be there and be supportive whenever you need me, even if you think
you don't
- to always be wrong in any disagreement where you are right
- to make you laugh, especially at the times you need it most
- to change the radio any time Tom Petty comes on
- to be the best husband I can be
- and to love you in every way imaginable, every day of my life
Erin's Vows
I just wanted to tell you some of the things that I love about you:
- how you brighten my day with just a smile and a hug
- that you miss the cats as much as I do [pause for crying]
- how you are caring and thoughtful and talented and funny
- the way you stand up for your beliefs
- your intelligence
- how you snuggle up to me when you are cold [Keith interrupts:
"Hey, you stole that!"]
- that you want to work on building a stronger relationship with me
- that you enjoy watching sunsets and the night sky
- that you can make me laugh even when I'm mad at you
- waking up with your arms around me
- how you want to see the entire world and take me with you
- and, above all, just being by your side
