Master Bedroom — Lots of light pours into our master bedroom. The entire wall of windows makes for a great view when waking up.
Master Bath — The master bathroom is attached to the bedroom. Sinks on the right, walk-in closet and shower/toilet (not the same room) on the left. Nicest of all, the jetted tub sits at the end, with windows on both sides, offering sweeping views — and no other rooftops in the way!
Master Bedroom Balcony — From our bed, you can see the private balcony attached to our room. A prefect place to hang out after work, sipping margaritas! From here, or through the windows, you can see Puget Sound, with the the Olypmic Mountains in the distance.
Minibar — There's still more! Heading up from the third floor, a landing sports a minibar, with fridge and bar sink, and plenty of cabinets for extra wine glasses (along with kitchen runover).
Self-Portrait — Pausing to take a picture with my friend Anthony's ultra-super-mega-fancy, way-too-advanced-for-me camera. Behind me is the top of the line.
Roofdeck — The nail in the coffin that ultimately made us think this was the house for us: the roofdeck! (The furniture and planters aren't ours; they belonged to the previous owners, who took this photo for the realtor's site.)
Roofdeck: Northwest — The view from most floors of the house looks best at the highest point, of course. To the northwest is Puget Sound, and on most days, you can see the ferries heading up to Whidbey Island (barely visible behind the tall tree), or further north toward Victoria, B.C. Off to the left are the Olympic Mountains and the Olympic Peninsula.
Roofdeck: East — Around the other side of the roofdeck is an unobstructed view of eastern Seattle, with the Cascade Mountains in the distance (mostly clouded in today). On the clearest of days — just a few times a year — you can see Mount Baker to the distant north...almost halfway to the Canadian border!
