| An altar at the temple and amphitheater of Q'enqo. Though the site was interesting for its "fine Incan stonework" (what Incan site isn't?), we found most curious the fact that Incan doctors performed surgical operations on this very altar — including the mending of broken skulls. Unfortunately for the patients, they hadn't yet discovered novocaine. |
