Circuito Superior — Climbing up from the river after the raft ride, we look along the Superior Circuit walking path to see hundreds of individual falls dropping from Rio Iguazu Superior.
Don't Look Down — From the top of the climb, one can look down to see the falls at three different steps on its way to the bottom. A small island, Isla San Martin, lies in the middle of the river, where a staircase climbs all the way to the top to give eye-level views of the falls.
More Not-So-Inferior Falls — Another view of the dozens of small stream pools that look so harmless one second, then plummet down 50-60 meters the next.
Butterflies — Dozens of butterflies — white, gray, brown, and brilliant blue — swarm alongside the mini-train, landing ever so fleetingly, as if to welcome passengers to their stop.
Keel-Billed Toucan — Yes, it's really a toucan! We spotted several of them in the trees along the Sendero Verde walking trail. Froot Loops, anyone?
Tree Iguana — An iguana is interrupted during his sunning on our walkways, but pauses before scampering off into the bushes. (Iguanas are like that when the cameras come out.)
The "88" Butterfly — The linebacker butterfly (in for the number 54 butterfly out with a broken wing).
