Bachelors Beach — Sea lions that are unable to find a mate by a certain age are exiled to the bachelor beach. These animals have a tougher time getting food or respect, and they often die much sooner than the rest. Don't go up to them, however: as one might expect, too, they're quite bitter about the way things turned out for them. |
