Huerquehue Valley — When you're not river rafting in this part of the world, the other great thing to do is get on a horse, because it's a hell of a lot better than walking. This is especially true when the goal is a hilltop overlooking huge, sweeping valleys like this one. |

Rappelling — With Keith's butt thoroughly sore from riding, now it was time to put the rest of the muscles to work by rappelling down a rock cliff. Again, the chaps really do make the picture, don't you think? |

Okay, Pull Me Up Now! — Unfortunately, the cliff in question was anything but an easy one to climb back up, with few footholds and long stretches between them. Keith waves after climbing about a third of the way, but after this, it becomes a lot more of a "team sport". |

At the Top — After a climb like that, it's enough to make one long for Argentina...which happens to be just on the other side of those mountains. (This part of the country is a mere 90 km wide, so there's hardly anywhere you can go without being able to see Argentina.) |
